NewBay Media, LLC, an internationally recognized magazine publishing company within the media and technology industry, is seeking a Associate Editor to manage the day-to-day editorial content of its business-to-business publication Radio World and its supplemental publications as well as management of web content at .
Responsibilities include:
- Execute editorial direction of publication to meet business and editorial goals set by editor in chief and publisher;
- Conduct high-profile interviews;
- Assign, edit, write articles including major stories;
- Solicit, create and assign artwork;
- Perform galley edits, production layout, corrections and proofing of production pages;
- Participate in selecting conventions to cover and plan their staffing;
- Speak at industry events and participate in conventions;
- Administrative end work including making hiring/firing recommendations to editor in chief, training new RW editorial employees, conducting employee reviews, soliciting freelancers and negotiating their agreements as well as other duties as assigned.
