Sue Scott Gallery represents emerging and mid career contemporary artists in New York City.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Lead sales and client development, relationship building with collectors, consultants, other galleries and museums. Represent the gallery and our artists at New York art events and functions. Interface with gallery artists. Be able to speak intelligently about the work and work closely with artists in their project development. Assist in running day-to-day operations of the gallery, including drafting press releases, writing fair applications and proposals. Be able to oversee and participate in the installations. Work normal gallery hours but also flexible and willing to travel and work additional hours as necessary.
