Manager, Programming and Scheduling

The Manager of Programming & Scheduling is responsible for the strategic creation of the Wild Channel's daytime, fringe, and late night schedule, and for managing Wild's listings and titles processes.




Responsibilities: -Develops strategic Wild Channel schedule for daytime, fringe and latenight. Develops scheduling strategy and episodic schedule for specified dayparts. Develops new programming strands and create program schedule which will simultaneously drive viewership and ad sales revenue, and reinforce the channel brand. -Responds to ad sales RFP's, movie-tie-ins and scatter requests. -Heads external listings process and manage cross-departmental publication audit for Wild. -Enters schedule into NGC Wild database on a quarterly basis and as changes or updates occur. Additionally, has full ownership of Wild strategic documentation, e.g. primetime schedules and Nielsen ratings. -Assists VPs of Programming and Program Planning & Budget in tracking the development, green-light, and production schedules of Wild programs, as well as maintains strategic program planning documents. -Dedicated point of contact for high volume of requests for information (inventory searches, schedule questions, etc.) -Co-Manages Programming Scheduling Assistant and Programming Intern. -Other duties as assigned.
