Looking for a strong writer skilled in marketing and publicity to manage our website, create our online promotional efforts, and direct our e-commerce, social networking, and digital media initiatives.
Duties include management of all aspects of our website including entering and maintaining data, being the managing editor of our award-winning blog, and daily blogging; managing our social networking sites; designing campaigns; writing online press materials; working with authors; and raising the company's profile.
Candidates should have at least two years experience working at a book publisher; strong writing, verbal, and data management skills; the ability to simultaneously handle a variety of books (for example, current events titles along with translated literary fiction and poetry); and an interest in independent publishing.
Must be self-motivated, well organized, with a good sense of humor and enjoy working in a fast-paced, deeply collaborative and creative environment.
