Marketing Director- Theatre
The Shakespeare Theatre Company, a multi venue Lort B+ theatre located in Washington, DC, seeks a dynamic and innovative senior level Marketing Director (MD) to join our busy Marketing and Communications department. This new position is responsible for creating, implementing, and managing all short-term and long-term marketing and advertising strategies for ticket sales including subscriptions, single tickets, and group sales. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record for meeting and exceeding sales goals through both best practice and -out of the box- sales strategies in a diverse marketplace. The MD will also maintain superior customer service of in-bound and out-bound sales and customer service staff by creating and improving internal systems, motivating employees, and actively responding to employee and customer input. This position works closely with a variety of staff throughout the organization to develop strategies and long term plans for marketing and advertising needs. Direct reports- Associate Director of Marketing, Call Center Director, and Audience Services Manager.
