This position is responsible for web content and entertainment news. Responsibilities Writing and editing Radio content for digital distribution on web and mobile platforms as well as traditional radio station websites
Editing the writing of other ABC NEWS Radio staff including fact checking
Strong overall computer skills; familiarity with proprietary web content management systems; understanding of online and mobile social media and social networking tools; and expert knowledge of digital audio software (Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, Sound Forge, Audacity, etc.) Candidates must exhibit superior news judgment, particularly in breaking and developing news situations; outstanding writing and editing skills; the ability to balance priorities, multiple projects and tasks; and effective communication skills. Candidates must be experienced, professional self-starters able to work under intense pressure against deadline with minimal direct supervision.
