Staff Writer/Assignment Desk Editor
An independent online news organization is seeking a skilled investigative Staff News Writers/Assignment Desk Editors who can generate news ideas and write daily news stories for our online news content.
Staff news writers will also be working closely with editors and national correspondents as assignment desk editors to uncover, gather, and generate content that is in the national public interest.
The main task for staff writers is writing investigative news reports and news analysis on the issues that matter the most.
A Bachelors degree in Journalism, Political Science, or International Relations is required, and at least three years of POLITCAL News or Analysis Writing, Assignment Desk Editing, or Journalism experience is required, along with a real passion for bringing to light silenced social and political issues.
