Test and Evaluation Engineer 3\4
We are needing individuals to develop test plans, procedures and test equipment/software in order to ensure company products and services comply with customer, regulatory, and LSI requirements. Designs, develops and integrates calibration systems. The desired candidates will design test hardware, software and systems to achieve test requirements that encompass the full spectrum of testing. The Test and Evaluation (T&E) Engineer will also analyze, review and validate test data. They will also prepare and publish test reports; conduct research in test technologies to improve efficiency and capability; interface with other members of Customer or program teams, management and other technical staff to define and implement test engineering solutions; document discrepancy reports, ensure proper completion, and provide metrics on those discrepancy reports.
These individuals support Operations and Maintenance (O&M) development activities as well as sprint activities by determining the number of test cases needed to verify the software being developed from the stated requirement or sprint backlog. They will attend team meetings, give Verification and Validation (V&V) activity status and burn-down information. Support integration and end-of-sprint activities by identifying the test cases that were run and any open discrepancy reports for the sprint developed software. Provide recommendations on those discrepancy reports as well as track them to closure. Use the following verification tools: Rally, Selenium IDE, Selenium Remote Control and Firefox (Firebug), SharePoint and potentially HP/QC, HP/QTP. Create verification plans based on requirement criteria. Determine verification criteria type and test method for the traceability matrix. Populate approved program with the traceability matrix information if required. Support demos, whenever required. Generate test cases. Review test cases with V&V team peers. Coordinate test cases with developers. Enroll the participation of developers, in witnessing all test case activities. Coordinate report of test case results with developers. Contribute to continual improvement by way of lessons learned, customer feedback, and corrective and/or preventative action. Write test documentation including test plans, test cases, test reports, test procedures and requirements verification traceability matrices (RVTM's).

Seeks input from audience; checks understanding; presents message in different ways to enhance understanding. Uses syntax, pace, volume, diction, and mechanics appropriate to the media being used. Accurately interprets messages from others and responds appropriately.
• Systems Thinking
Evaluates job tasks and processes on how well they help meet team objective(s); identifies non-value-adding components and barriers. Formulates change strategies; seeks input from others to evaluate options for change and encourage buy-in. Makes appropriate changes to job/role structures and processes by communicating effectively and focusing on new skill development. Uses accurate measurement systems to monitor the implementation.
