Theatrical Services ManagerRequirements:
-Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required -Four years of entertainment, technical theater and events knowledge required -Four years of technical aspects of events: staging, lighting, audio, event theming and dcor, special effects knowledge -Two years of management or supervisory experience -Two years of performance/creative knowledge -Knowledge of budget development desired -Excellent Communication skills, verbal and written. Ability to communicate across all levels of corporation -Excellent Computer skills(excel/word/outlook) -Strong leadership abilities and skills in planning, organization, implementation and follow-through -Ability to work various schedules, including weekends and holidays. Available for occasional travel. -Ability to sit, stand, or walk for periods of up to an hour at a time. Ability to climb stairs, bend, push, pull or occasionally lift items of up to 40 pounds
Responsibilities: include the following: (Other duties may be assigned) -Manage technical elements and technical support for park entertainment. Manage preparation, execution, operation, strike and storage of technical components and technical labor personnel for show s and show change outs -Coordinate consumer and special events, including the identification and provision of technical requirements. Facilitate interdepartmental and multi-departmental communication for consumer and special events. -Responsible for stewardship and planning of budgets for technical elements. New product research, coordination of maintenance of components, management of technical assets used for shows and events, and evaluation of technical elements. -Recruit, hire and manage technical support staffing. Oversee scheduling of tech staff. -Entertainment department responsibilities -Coordinate technical training and teach or facilitate technical training classes
