The Bradenton Times is seeking an experienced, self-managed writer/editor to cover local government and political issues. The ideal candidate is an experienced reporter who lives locally and is familiar with Bradenton/Manatee politics. They will be responsible for writing and self-editing regular coverage of political meetings and issues for our daily news site and weekly magazine. The most important asset is an understanding of local government. We will only consider veteran reporters with experience covering local government or inexperienced reporters who are VERY WELL versed in Manatee politics.
