E&Y is World's "Most Admired" for Knowledge Management

It's not the first time, but the ninth consecutive in a row, that Ernst & Young has been recognized as the Most Admired Knowledge Enterprise (MAKE) of the world. In the 2006 MAKE awards, Ernst & Young bagged the first prize in the "Creating an Environment for Collaborative Knowledge-Sharing" and "Developing Knowledge Workers Through Senior Management Leadership" categories. The MAKE survey was carried out by Teleos in union with the KNOW network. The panel of experts comprised senior executives at Fortune Global 500 companies, foremost knowledge management practitioners and chief knowledge officers. The annual MAKE study, started in 1998, is the leading benchmark for the worlds best knowledge based organizations. Due recognition is paid annually to organizations that position above the crowd in the knowledge economy. The other winners of the top MAKE awards include Cisco Systems, Hewlett-Packard, IBM, General Electrics, Siemens and McKinsey & Company. Ernst & Young is one of the few organizations that achieved recognition each year since 1998. It got introduced into the MAKE Hall of Fame in 2000. Ratings of organizations are carried out by the MAKE panel against a framework of key knowledge performance dimensions that are the movers of intellectual capital growth and competitive advantage.
