Supports senior members of the communications team on the development and execution of communications plans. Provides media and influencer identification, monitoring and outreach.
Under supervision, plans, researches, and develops communications content.
Under supervision, provides support to the organization on all aspects of plan development and execution.
Conducts media outreach and monitoring. Assists with communication events, initiatives, or presentations.

Planning: Tactical, Strategic - Ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.
Public Relations - Knowledge of organizational practices and considerations for communicating in the public arena, from the community to global public relations (PR); the ability to communicate to various forms of media outlets effectively and establish favorable public relations.
Resource Management - Plans, mobilizes and distributes resources to fulfill business objectives and plans.
Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 2+ years of relevant professional experience. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
