We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an AR - Customer Relations Specialist - Collections. This role encompasses two primary responsibilities: initiating outgoing calls to customers with past due balances, arranging payment solutions; and responding to collection-related customer inquiries via telephone and email to support our Solutions Center call volume. Responsibilities

• Make outbound collection calls to customers with a pre-defined list of accounts.

• Determine reasons for a customer's past due balance and establish payment arrangements based on collection policies.

• Respond to incoming calls and emails from customers, addressing questions related to their past due accounts.

• Identify accounts that are uncollectible and transfer them to our Legal department for further action.

• Identify accounts suitable for year-end bad debt write-off.

• Provide invoice and statement copies as needed.

• Initiate and respond to Service Now tickets for more detailed customer requests.

• Perform additional tasks as determined by the Customer Relations Supervisor.

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a collection environment.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

• Customer service-focused mindset.

• Ability to thrive in a high-volume, high-pressure environment.

• Conflict resolution and negotiation skills.

• Proficient in working with Peoplesoft.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.

• Organizational and follow-up skills.

• Results-driven and self-motivated.
