Position Summary :
The Art Director is a pivotal role within Gallagher's Art Department, our in-house creative agency. The Art Director is responsible for the driving the creative vision of a project or marketing campaign. The Art Director reports to the Creative Director and works closely with a dedicated team, including copywriters, graphic designers and account managers to bring strategic creative solutions to our internal client team.
Key responsibilities involve :
Displays a demeanor andattitude that encourages a culture of creativity.
Organizes, directs, andmotivates team members.
Supervises a team of graphic designers,photographers, illustrators, production artists and creative freelancers. Delegates dutiesamong team members, and approves all final materials produced by the department.
Articulates creative vision to theteam and oversees production of marketing and promotional pieces, includingprint, video, digital, mobile, and social media executions; campaign collateral;and internal and external corporate materials.
Facilitates the creative development and conceptualframework for all projects. Collaborates with members of marketing teams,designers and copywriters to develop strategies for marketing campaigns andtactical executions.
Balances competing prioritiesand multiple projects while meeting strict deadlines.
Creates presentations and project plans, meets withinternal clients, and ensures successful representation of the Gallagher brand,while managingclient expectations.
Dedication to brand, graphic consistency and quality acrossall channels.
Ensures deadlines and budgets are accurate and met.
Is current on best practices, trends, and industrytechniques.
Bachelor's degree and 7 years related experience required.
Knowledge of current graphic design equipment, tools, and techniques required.
