    Job Overview:

    This person will be responsible for implementing marketing and advertising campaigns, initiating press releases and format the public relations efforts of the hotel. They will report directly to the Director of Sales, Marketing and Events.

    This highly visible role helps nurture collaboration and alignment between key internal and external hotel stakeholder groups by developing and executing unified marketing strategies designed to build hotel and venue awareness, generate hotel revenue and build market share. This position plays a vital role in developing content for a variety of mediums (print, digital, social, more), managing reputation and social channels, creating/supporting marketing, PR, media and sales messaging while enhancing brand equity and community stature. This role will be responsible for managing content and promotion for all hotel and venue websites, directly and indirectly.

    Qualifications:

    • Education: Bachelor's Degree (associates degree considered) in Marketing, Communication, Business, or a related field.

    • Minimum 3 years hotel marketing experience or the equivalent amount of industry experience; OR, equivalent combination of education and work experience.

    • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment

    • Refined verbal and written communication skills

    • Must be proficient in general computer knowledge including social media platforms

    • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record in a similar position

    • Someone with an entrepreneurial mindset that thrives in fast pace environments

    • Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills
