    How You'll Make an Impact:

    Collaborate with manager, artists, and apparel designers to develop seasonal apparel graphics that support the brand vision. Create innovative designs that are trend right and relevant to our brands. This role is based four days onsite and one day remote in our Atlanta office.

    • 75% Creative Functions:

    • Create original, innovative, and emotional art for children's apparel that aligns with overall seasonal direction

    • Exhibit strong use of illustration, color, layout, and versatile techniques in art development

    • Research and present relevant trend/ innovative ideas to the line each season

    • Work independently, offer creative solutions on projects, self-manage workflow

    • Maintain updated, organized art files on server

    • 25%: Secondary Functions:

    • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with our production art, design, merchandising and PDC partners to meet/ exceed deadlines

    • Read hindsight/selling reports to understand the carter's brand

    • Develop knowledge of calendar, line-sheets, SBUs and presentation files

    We'd Love to Hear from You if:

    Must Have:

    • Great Eye for design, color, and layout

    • Well versed in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills ; deadline oriented in a fast past environment

    • Minimum 1 year industry experience in apparel, or related commercial art field

    Preferred Skills and Experience:

    • Degree in Illustration, Fabric/Textile Design, or related field

    • Internship in Apparel Graphics or CAD Design preferred (or commercial related art field)
