Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall set-up and distribution of all video and audio sources, including simulcast racing

• Maintain, install, and troubleshoot cameras, console equipment, broadcast television monitors, video recording devices, video switchers, digital video equipment, graphics generating equipment, distribution amplifiers, frame synchronizers, decoders, and all wiring-related issues

• Record and assist in internal production of any videos, live events, and subsequent editing

• Always maintain an accurate inventory of all equipment on the property

• Leads other team members in project design and completion and schedule all of Southland's simulcast and sports programming

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required, college or technical school degree preferred

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a television broadcast or distribution environment preferred

• Operation of satellite receiving, broadcasting, and distribution systems preferred

• Experience with network distribution of video and audio signal systems preferred

• Knowledge of computer systems and software

• Must be able to obtain and maintain all applicable licenses needed for the State of Arkansas Racing Commission

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds of equipment

• Must be able to see in color to troubleshoot graphics

• Must be able to climb ladders and work in tight spaces
