    Amentum is currently seeking an Audio/Visual Support Technician to support an IT Managed Services program for the Department of Energy. The overall program includes a 500+ work force performing Enterprise IT support, Service Desk, and Telecommunications support across multiple facilities and locations, for classified and unclassified telecommunications and information technology (IT) systems for National Technology and Engineering Solutions of Sandia (NTESS).

    The Audio/Visual team works to design, install, maintain, and support enterprise video collaboration and conference rooms, which provide secure and reliable video and audio conferencing with screen-sharing capabilities in both classified and unclassified environments. This includes video production and editing support in both classified and unclassified environments and provide on-site Auditorium live event support. In addition, the team installs hardware and software to conference rooms across the laboratory.

    We are seeking an Audio/Visual technician with a background in Information technology and audio/video type systems and configurations. The A/V Technician will be installing and maintaining Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTRs) and Skype equipment. We are specifically seeking expertise with Teams, Skype, Windows, Networking, Classified Computing requirements, speakers, cameras, microphones, desktop configurations and KVM Switches. You should have strong customer service skills and an ability to troubleshoot videoconferencing systems under pressure and time sensitive situations. Additional qualifications would include understanding the capabilities of Microsoft 365, Teams, Skype, Outlook, and scheduling meetings.

    As a member of the team, you will:

    • End user support and setup of video conferences and video conference equipment.

    • Unclassified and Classified video conference event scheduling and coordination support.

    • Secure video conference bridge and meeting setup support within the DOE/NNSA Enterprise Secure Network and DoD Secure Network Environments.

    • Video conference and Skype & Microsoft Teams system training support.

    • Video conference and presentation systems planning, design and installation for all Classified and Unclassified environments and product lines.

    • Video conference and AV Systems installation, support and maintenance.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

    • Must have a High School Diploma / GED and 2 years of experience.

    • Must be able to obtain a TOP SECRET (TS) or DOE Q clearance and maintain it for the life of the contract.

    • Minimum of two years demonstrated experience in a fast-pace, audio/visual support area.

    • Intermediate-to-advanced MS productivity suite & collaborative applications' expertise.

    • Intermediate-to-advanced desktop support & troubleshooting skills for Windows.

    • Excellent customer service skills.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with Skype/Teams video conferencing & video conference room equipment.

    • An Active DoE or DoD Clearance is desired.
