Work you'll do
The individual in this highly visible position is responsible for managing the overall planning, execution, and effectiveness of internal communications for Ethics & Compliance, Independence Conflicts Network, Anti-Corruption, Trade, and Political Activity Compliance across all segments of the Deloitte U.S. Firms' population.
Facilitating the planning, development, and execution of annual communications plans.Developing the production schedule and budget for all communications projects and keeping within plan for both.
Writing and editing content for firm-wide and targeted emails, DNet articles, executive presentations, newsletters, etc.
Interfacing regularly with the Internal Communications group regarding optimal channels within the organization to be used for various communications
Establishing metrics for determining the effectiveness of the communications program.
Conducting regular tracking regarding communications projects and reporting to group leaders.
Sourcing the technical content for communications with subject matter resources to help Deloitte professionals better understand ethics, independence, regulatory, risk, confidentiality, and other compliance matters.
Collaborating with Reputation and Compliance Learning to effectively promote national mandatory training programs.
Overseeing content development for relevant sections on DeloitteNet, Deloitte Resources and ~~~.
Interfacing with other groups such as Risk & Brand Protection, OGC, Talent, DEI, PPMD Relations, Learning, Internal Communications and Green Dot Agency to garner support and confirm content related to specific messaging.
Overseeing the layout, proofreading, production, and publishing of all materials.
Overseeing risk and legal review if necessary for any communications.
Working closely with Ethics and Compliance leadership to develop presentations to US leadership and preparing IEC annual report.
Maintaining customized distribution lists for specific communications and working with key internal teams to create new ones, as needed.
Supervising and mentoring career development of communications manager and senior analyst.
The successful candidate will possess
Strong critical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills
Excellent writing skills to write original content and edit others' writing
Strong oral communications skills and ability to discuss topics on a strategic level with partners and managing directors and tactfully propose alternative solutions to any communications challenges.
Experience working independently as well as collaboratively across large teams

Bachelors degree required
This individual should have at least 8 years of experience in communications/marketing with a proven track record in effective execution of marketing and communications plans.
Competent in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Understanding of HTML environment.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Ability to travel less than 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
