    Kimley-Horn is looking for a Communications Writer & Social Media Intern to join the Communications team in our Raleigh, North Carolina (NC) office.

    Responsibilities

    The Communications Writer & Social Media Intern will gain experience ininternaland externalcommunications and social media.The ideal candidate will betalented and driven,playinga vital role in creating engaging content for various audiences. This position requires a combination of excellent communication and writing skills, along with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling.

    • Develop and create compelling content for internal and external audiences, across multiple platforms.

    • Use your writing skills to showcase employee success stories and promote the Kimley-Horn culture through captivating storytelling.

    • Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to gather information and ensure accuracy and consistency in the content produced.

    • Edit and proofread materials to maintain high standards of grammar, format, style, and accuracy.

    • Support other activities within the communications department as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to contribute to various projects.

    Qualifications

    • Currently pursuing a degree in communications, journalism, or a related field.

    • Excellent writing and editing skills, with a strong grasp of grammar, punctuation, and style.

    • Proficiency in utilizing various social media platforms for content creation and dissemination.

    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, while meeting deadlines.

    • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
