    Methods+Mastery has an immediate opening for a talented and energetic Account Supervisor to join our team and help our clients maximize their marketing and communications efforts through earned media campaigns that place data and insights at their core. This position provides an exciting opportunity for an earned media guru with a passion for technology and strong tech media relationships to work with a dynamic, high-performing team servicing a Fortune 500 Top 10 client on programs encompassing hardware and software product communications, media relations, experiential events, owned media, executive communications, and issues management. Currently, positions are only available to residents of California or applicants willing to relocate to California. This position offers the opportunity for a hybrid setup with work-from-home and work-from-office flexibility.

    The anticipated salary range for this position is $78,000 - $92,250.

    Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications and geography. A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off and/or other benefits also are available.

    Responsibilities

    • Partner with senior team members to create and drive PR campaigns to secure media coverage of product launches, software updates, partnerships, and other company announcements.

    • Develop and edit high quality written materials, including press releases, blog posts, pitches, reviews guides, recommendations and award submissions.

    • Draft tactical plans for product news moments such as announcements of new features and software updates.

    • Support the team with your understanding of the tech media landscape, bringing new pitch ideas that interject clients into current news cycles; shape stories that are in line with objectives.

    • Serve as a day-to-day client contact and manage up and down to execute programs efficiently and on time.

    Qualifications

    Must-haves:

    • 5-7 years of experience in PR for technology brands.

    • Experience managing all aspects of product launches, including messaging, materials creation, and overseeing others to drive programs to conclusion.

    • Strong written and verbal skills and ability to communicate effectively, present ideas and information clearly.

    • Advanced knowledge of top-tier tech, consumer and business media and relationships with reporters at tier 1 tech outlets.

    • A go getter mindset & attitude - loves media relations and not afraid to secure new media contacts & relationships.

    • Experience managing and coordinating projects with multiple work streams, including managing junior team members, both directly and indirectly.

    • Results-focused approach and commitment to going the extra mile for clients.

    • Energetic, self-starter and resourceful problem solver - gets things moving and keeps them on track. High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple ongoing activities without sacrificing quality.

    • Strong team orientation to succeed in a team environment with good interpersonal skills, can maintain composure and quality under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

    Nice-to-haves:

    • Agency experience.

    • Experience with hardware and software.

    • Experience communicating the future potential of AI, AR/VR and other advanced technologies.

    • Experience working with or on campaigns targeting developers.
