    Good Sam is now hiring a Creative Director to be based at our Englewood, CO Headquarters. The Creative Director guides all direct mail, retail signage and advertising projects and is responsible for the overall quality of work produced by the creative department. Must have the ability to lead others but also keep one foot in the trenches, helping to generate the big ideas and serve as a Senior Graphic Designer and Art Director where needed.

    The ideal candidate will have at least five to eight years of experience preferred in the direct mail and retail fields. Top candidates must have a strong understanding of industry trends and creative tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite. Experience performing or managing Graphic Designers is important. Expert knowledge of the business side of design is a major plus.


    • Manage the creative process from concept to completion

    • Translate marketing objectives into clear creative strategies

    • Lead and direct the creative team in the production of print direct mail, store signage and advertising

    • Ensure visual communication and brand standards are met

    • Oversee deliverables and timelines

    • Meet with marketing and management to explain campaign strategies and solutions

    • Review work, troubleshoot and provide feedback to creative teams

    • Remain actively involved in hiring and training creative staff

    • Manage and cultivate the career development of designer staff members

    • Ability to roll up sleeves and serve as a Senior Graphic designer to build the creative campaigns

    • Copywriting a plus


    • 5-8 years' experience preferred in retail/direct mail

    • BA in advertising, fine art, design or relevant field is preferred

    • Proven experience as a Creative Director or in a similar creative role

    • Hands-on experience in creative process, marketing, graphic design and brand development

    • Excellent working knowledge of softwares such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign etc.

    • Outstanding leadership and organization skills

    • Exemplary interpersonal and analytical abilities
