Location Description Post Consumer Brands corporate headquarters in Lakeville, Minn. is about 20 miles south of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Lakeville has all the benefits of smaller town living with access to everything a large metropolitan area has to offer. Join more than 400 team members collaborating on the two-building campus to help put breakfast on the tables of millions of consumers in North America. Responsibilities As a Designer with the Post Consumer Brands creative team, you'll focus on digital design and content creation across digital display, social, and web. You'll collaborate on projects from concept to execution within our vast portfolio of brands - including favorites like Pebbles, Honeycomb, Grape-Nuts and Honey Bunches of Oats. This role, which has an emphasis on digital design and content creation, reports to the Executive Creative Director and collaborates with packaging designers, animators, copywriters, project managers, external creative partners and our brand and marketing teams. Job Activities: Design and deliver polished creative content primarily for digital and social channels Use your skills as an expert designer to uphold, expand and create human connections with Post's portfolio of brands Strategically apply graphic design principles against creative briefs and demonstrate an ability to articulate decisions to your partners while engaging in thoughtful discussion and debate Participate in strategic creative brainstorming sessions Ideate original content for digital and social channels Design within brand guidelines, but know how to push the aesthetic, where appropriate Work with performance data to create content that drives higher reach and engagement, and continue to push the boundaries of the creative Demonstrate a growth mindset-an ability to think of quick wins and agile ways of working to drive business audience growth Make timely decisions and manage multiple fast-paced projects at once Ensure deadlines are met while keeping partners and stakeholders informed and involved Constantly research design, advertising, digital and cultural trends that exist inside and outside our industry Openly welcome feedback through creative critiques and demonstrate an ability to take direction Qualifications Four-year degree or equivalent experience 3+ years experience in a graphic design position with an in-house or agency creative team A portfolio demonstrating excellent graphic design, typography and knowledge of design tools. Strong digital examples are required in your portfolio. Social, print, in-store and packaging examples are a plus. Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite programs (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat) Experience shooting your own photography and a working knowledge of camera equipment is a plus Photo editing & retouching a plus
