    Position Title: Digital Content Specialist

    Business Area: NAR

    Location: Louisville, KY

    Reports to: Communications Manager

    Partners with: IT, BAR, Emerging Channels team & National Accounts team

    Position Summary:

    The Digital Content Specialist manages the Brown-Forman Cabinet to organize digital assets for the brands, including overall site management, updates and site communication. In partnership with the BAR team ensures NAR digital assets are accurately cataloged to provide consistency among Brown-Forman’s portfolio of brands in the Brown-Forman Cabinet. The Digital Content Specialist is responsible for availability and consistency of assets that comprise the digital shelf for B-F brands in brick and mortar retailers in the U.S, supporting national accounts, and emerging ecommerce partners supporting the NAR RTC Team. In addition, the Specialist also provides support for establishing process to effectively manage and monitor assets.

    Responsibilities:

    Cabinet Curator

    Oversee the management of the Brown-Forman Cabinet, the current centralized data asset management system (DAM) and the associated governance process for a sustainable long-term DAM process and platform. Assist NAR Communications Manager with the implementation and roll out of any new DAM system.

    • Maintain Cabinet pages including overall site to ensure consistency across brand pages and updated assets.

    • Monitor brand content on various NAR platforms (SAMIE Says, Bar, etc) to make sure it’s current, consistent and shared on Cabinet.

    • Partner with brand teams to ensure most relevant material is available internally and externally; manage new content submission process with brand teams and agency partners.

    • Manage external site access and troubleshooting.

    • Manage BF Cabinet as the DAM system: work closely with the BAR team to ensure workflows, provide input and improvements, and communicate with brand and design teams.

    • Work with BAR team on monthly Cabinet Audit to ensure assets are shared.

    Digital Shelf

    Work with NAR Communication Manager and Digital Marketing Manager to establish a sustainable eCommerce infrastructure and supporting processes to monitor the digital shelf presence for our BF brands including content management, distribution and product page monitoring.

    • Audit, update and verify brand assets; support the National Account teams’ requests from specific accounts and create workflows for these requests.

    • Develop effective and efficient processes for sharing e-premise content with distributor and retail customer platforms.

    • Conduct regular review of our brands’ digital shelf presence and implement corrective action; support any recommendations and needed solutions based on learnings.

    • Review results of digital shelf monitoring service and provide recommendations to Digital Marketing Manager based on gaps

    • Primary responsibility is national accounts brick and mortar.coms and emerging online partners

    NAR Tools & Communications

    • Manage weekly SAMIE Says distribution including loading assets into B-F Cabinet.

    • Assist with updating Portfolio Sales Tools & Planning Tools and managing these tools in B-F Cabinet.

    • Assist with gathering content for NAR publications (NAR News, Whiskey Report, etc).

    Must Requirements:

    Education/Experience: Bachelor degree plus 2-4 years experience in digital communications or related field or equivalent education/experience.

    • Knowledge of production processes to facilitate digital asset management.

    • Strong technical skills.

    • Knowledge of digital file formats.

    • Clear written communications; ability to write and edit copy.

    • Demonstrated ability to work independently; self-motivated

    • Strong organizational skills; attention to detail and follow-up skills.

    • Ability to work on multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.

    Preferred Requirements:

    • One to two years of experience working with digital asset management/content management systems.

    • Basic Graphic Design and/or web layout experience.

    • Experience using Adobe applications.
