  • **Requisition \#:** 27743 **Working Title:** Digital Specialist **Business Entity:** CSMC \- Cedars\-Sinai Medical Center **Cost Center \# \- Cost Center Name:** 0863103 \- Development Communications **City:** Los Angeles **Job Category:** Marketing/Community Relations/Legal Affairs **Job Specialty:** Marketing **Position Type:** Temporary **Shift Length:** 8hr **Hours:** 8:30am \- 5pm **Days:** Monday \- Friday **Shift Type:** Day **Weekends:** None Job Posting: Summary of Essential Job Duties: Reporting to the Digital Manager in the Content Development Department, the Digital Specialist will be responsible for laying out, updating and maintaining content on cedars\-sinai\.edu and other Cedars\-Sinai digital platforms including digital signage, corporate Intranet and the inpatient television system, among others The Digital Specialist will: • Work closely with colleagues in Content Development, Marketing, Communications and Brand Strategy and Consumer experience to keep Cedars\-Sinai's multiple digital channels up to date with content that represents the whole of the institution • Maintain expertise in industry best practices in web design, user experience, site architecture and search optimization among other areas • Continually grow familiarity with new and developing digital platforms, tactics and strategies • Have an understanding of QA testing, responsive design and browser compatibility testing • Help maintain Cedars\-Sinai's high expectations for tone, voice and professionalism in all communications, demonstrating sound judgment and common sense under rapid deadlines • Ensure copy and graphics follow Cedars\-Sinai style guidelines • Be able to gather data, compile information and prepare reports as needed The ideal candidate will be: • Detail and results oriented • Highly organized and able to efficiently and effectively manage multiple tasks at varying stages of completion and on multiple platforms while keeping communication clear and driving workflow to tangible outcomes • Collaborative and team\-oriented, capable of building working relations and dedicated to the development of the entire team • A strategic and independent thinker, capable of bringing innovative new ideas to the team and championing productive and integrative change • A goal setter, who actively practices self\-development and is dedicated to growth in their personal expertise This is a Temporary position and temporary employment will conclude on or before 12/31/2017, or if needed, extended to an agreed upon date that will be filed with HR\. **Qualification Requirements/Preferences:** **Education Certifications/Licensure Experience Physical Abilities** Educational Requirements: • High school degree required, four\-year college degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Journalism, Information Technology, Web Design or related field preferred • Strong writing and proofing skills, knowledge of proper grammar and spelling • Working knowledge of various content management platforms as well as Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel and programs within the Adobe Creative Suite • Familiarity with Google Analytics and related tools • Ability to evaluate new and evolving digital technologies • Knowledge of digital legal guidelines as well as the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act and related regulations • Knowledge of marketing and digital strategy development and ability to provide useful counsel in its development License/Certification/Registration Requirements: N/A Experience: • A minimum of two years paid experience in web content management, or comparable role • Experience with a variety of content management platforms; experience with digital signage content creation and management preferred • Experience with Net Community CMS and Classy online fundraising platform a plus Physical Demands: \(e\.g\., lifting, standing, walking\) Vision sufficient to work at a computer, hearing sufficient for telephone transactions\.
