    The External Relations Department of the Stanford Graduate School of Business seeks a dynamic and experienced Director of Alumni Digital Communication to lead our alumni digital engagement strategy. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a passion for leveraging digital platforms to drive engagement, cultivate relationships, and inspire philanthropic support. This position reports to the Senior Director, Campaign Strategy and Operations.

    In this role, you'll have the opportunity to revolutionize how we connect with our global community of Stanford GSB alumni, donors, and stakeholders.

    Your primary responsibilities include:*

    • Spearhead the development and execution of a digital communication plan that captivates and inspires our GSB alumni and donor communities.

    • Lead a talented team in optimizing and expanding our digital presence across multiple platforms, including our website, email campaigns, social channels, platforms and magazine.

    • Collaborate closely with internal partners to develop and implement coordinated content strategies that cultivate authentic connections with our alumni and supporters.

    • Harness the power of data analytics to measure performance, identify trends, and unlock new opportunities for engagement and growth.

    • Stay ahead of the curve by exploring emerging technologies and trends in digital communication, ensuring our strategies remain cutting-edge and impactful. This position will also work to build awareness among the External Relations team on best practices and emerging trends in the digital communications landscape.

    • Oversee community platforms and vendor relationships, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance in support of organizational objectives.

    • Drive the development and optimization of processes and workflows, spearheading ways to enhance collaboration and efficiencies.

    To be successful in this position, you will bring:

    • Bachelor's degree and eight years of relevant experience; or a combination of education and relevant experience. Prior alumni/donor communication experience is highly desired but not required.

    • A proven track record in digital communication strategy development and execution.

    • Demonstrated experience in managing community platforms or similar digital assets.

    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners.

    • Proficiency in analyzing digital metrics and using insights to drive engagement and growth.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and brand consistency.

    The expected pay range for this position is $132,000 to $170,000 per year.
