    JOB SUMMARY: The Director Live Events and Production is responsible for management of the teams delivering live events (both face to face destination as well as web meeting) as well as production of all training assets contracted as part of study training engagements in InvestigatorSpace. This includes oversight on deployment of IS LIVE globally, as well as the production process and ultimate delivery of training. The Director Live Events and Production is responsible for Client Delivery, management of project margins and vendor management for events.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The accountabilities listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.

    • Ensures all projects meet client expectations, are delivered on time and within scope and margin

    • Ensures cross-functional collaboration for all projects and deliverables

    • Monitors and reports on the progress of a project to all stakeholders

    • Develops and implements process improvement upon review of exit surveys to understand the voice of the customer

    • Oversees invoicing / billing for all projects.

    • Coordinates internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.

    • Guides team on communicating best practices to meet client deliverables

    • Develops solutions for presentation needs under high-pressure circumstances

    • Provides immediate response to assistance requests for meetings in progress

    • Manages the training team deliverable calendar to ensure staffing is appropriately maintained

    • Manages all translation requirements with vendors to ensure seamless delivery in InvestigatorSpace.

    • Other duties as assigned by supervisor. These may, on occasion, be unrelated to the position described here.

    EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education, skills, and experience to perform the job.

    QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

    • Minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on experience working in the audio-visual field, production industry delivering live events (clinical investigator meetings preferred) and managing projects in a creative setting

    • Minimum 3 years' experience managing a team delivering live events

    • Experience with Windows, Outlook, MS Office, MS Project, PowerPoint, Adobe Presenter, Camtasia Studio, Goto Webinar, Zoom Webinar and Onstream Media

    • Technically proficient with lighting, sound reinforcement, video recording and data and video projection, and virtual meeting platform management

    • Experienced at selecting and managing crews and vendors

    • Experienced at space diagrams with large staging and complex audio equipment

    • Knowledge about the development and design of live events and/or online sites

    • Experienced at directing and working in a large audio-visual set-up for large productions

    • Ability to manage many different projects simultaneously and meet deadlines consistently

    • Ability to travel globally to meet with clients, stakeholders, or attend off-site meetings

    • Ability to lead and facilitate on site and/or virtual team members to ensure all technical aspects of the project are managed

    • Ability to think quickly, take the correct actions and work under the pressures of a live event or web meeting while operating the technology

    • Stays current with emerging technology

    • Exceptional customer service abilities

    • Excellent communication, organizational, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills

    • Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and procedures

    • Able to work extended hours and on weekends to meet the client's needs

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: The position will require the individual to be responsible for the management, direction, coordination, performance, and evaluation of an assigned team and staff. Responsibilities may include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

    TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: More than 50% (some global travel required)

    EXPECTED ANNUAL BASE SALARY: $101,700 to $158,000

    GPS LEVEL: M3
