Document Specialist

Description

Are you a skilled communicator with a passion for translating complex technical concepts into clear and concise documentation? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Technical Writer in the Tucson, AZ area.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to gather information and understand technical concepts and requirements.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, installation guides, API documentation, release notes, and knowledge base articles.

• Translate technical information into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Organize and structure documentation effectively, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency across all deliverables.

• Conduct research and gather information from various sources to ensure the accuracy and relevancy of documentation content.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and customer support, to gather feedback and iterate on documentation improvements.

• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and tools related to technical writing and documentation.

Requirements

• Excellent technical writing skills and knowledge.

• Experience with graphics and using graphic design applications a plus.

• Ability to take a high degree of initiative and demonstrates motivation to work independently and be a self-starter.

• Ability to work with cross-departmental teams.
