    Your Role and Responsibilities

    We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled media relations professional to join our global HR Communications team. This is an opportunity to work with reporters to tell the story of IBM's leadership in areas such as learning, culture, new collar roles, diversity & inclusion, leadership development, future of work, benefits, and more. You will work with the senior HR leadership team on narratives that support IBM's story of transformation and how we are supporting IBMers in that transformation. Important skills you should have include, strong writing and narrative development, the ability to build relationships with reporters, strong storytelling abilities, proven track record of working with executives and experts to prepare for interviews and build media pitches, and the ability to collaborate successfully with others.

    Required Technical and Professional Expertise

    • 6+ years of experience in media relations, PR or similar communications roles.

    • Experience in developing and maintaining relationships within an organization.

    • Success driving communications programs in a hybrid role for both internal and external communications.

    Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

    • Familiarity with IBM systems and processes, specifically around areas of culture, diversity, skills, employee value proposition.
