    Job Title: Graphic Design Specialist

    About the opportunity: In this exciting position, the Graphic Design Specialist performs coordination, maintenance, and updating of marketing materials library and execution of marketing automation and reporting activity. This role will monitor and execute needed updates for marketing collateral, develop local promotional materials, and manage execution of email marketing campaigns in MS Dynamics 365. The ideal candidate has a strong grasp of current and evolving marketing and graphic design tools, thrives in a collaborative environment and is comfortable with ambiguity.

    Location: This is a remote-eligible position. Local candidates to the Wood Dale, IL area would work on a hybrid schedule and would report to the office Wednesdays and Thursdays.

    What you will be doing:

    • Design and layout of marketing collateral, inclusive of, but not limited to technical literature, brochures, newsletters, ads, flyers, posters, and other direct mail pieces.

    • Design templates, layout content and provide input for printed literature.

    • Generate designs, process imagery and/or provide visual input for email, web, social media ensuring positive user experience.

    • Develop illustrations, iconography, infographics, or logos as needed.

    • Provide web design usability feedback as needed for externally generated content.

    • Execution of email marketing campaigns in Dynamics 365.

    • Responsible for events management in CRM including forms creation, database uploads and maintenance.

    • Creative management of content editorial calendar - ensuring timely execution through coordination with product management team and marketing leadership.

    • Work independently on multiple projects with varied deadlines.

    • Coordinate with outside vendors or printers, including submission of assets to publishers.

    • Understand and demonstrate application of PHCNA brand standards.

    • Work collaboratively with other designers, technical writers, and product marketing managers to support key marketing initiatives.

    • Perform all other duties as assigned.

    What you need for success:

    • Bachelor's degree in graphic design required; additional degrees in communications or art a plus.

    • Minimum of 2-3 years professional design experience, including the development of customer-facing print-based marketing materials; experience in multimedia and web design is a plus.

    • Demonstrated mastery of industry-standard design software, including Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop. Knowledge of other design and/or animation software is a plus.

    • Proven experience in graphic design with an eye for visual composition, typography, and color.

    • A compelling portfolio of work demonstrating excellent design skills, with attention to detail and impeccable technical execution.

    • Knowledge of printing processes and ability to produce print-ready artwork.
