We are seeking a Creative Graphic Designer with excellent design skills and an interest in the automotive and motorsports world to join our team!
The ideal candidate has an exceptional portfolio and will be able to show a seasoned understanding of the fundamentals of graphic design including color, imagery, typography and layout. They will have experience working in a wide variety of media and display a talent for producing innovative and fresh designs. The Graphic Designer will take ownership of design projects in PhotoshopÂ®, XDÂ®, InDesignÂ® and IllustratorÂ® and have a working understanding of the broader AdobeÂ® Creative Cloud Suite of software. This person will be willing and able to operate smoothly in both print and digital media and enjoy the challenges and pace of both.
Comfortable in a fast pace environment, The Graphic Designer will feel right at home in a collaborative atmosphere and be able to communicate effectively with peers and internal clients. They will have experience with project tracking and time management and be comfortable working within an online project management system.
This position will be located at our corporate office in Compton, California in the Greater Los Angeles area.
Develop comps and iterate for projects in both print and digital media.
Produce assets for email, social media, web-sites, landing pages, packaging, point-of-sale items, sales collateral and more.
Contribute fresh, innovative ideas for the development of impactful marketing communications.
Manage graphic design projects communicating needs and follow ups.
Organize production files and adhere to conventions for setup and naming.
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Digital Design or related field
3+ years of experience.
An interest in Automotive or Action Sports Culture is a plus.
Advanced knowledge of Adobe PhotoshopÂ®, IllustratorÂ® and InDesignÂ®
Basic HTML, CSS, and Web-Design experience is a plus.
Experience working project managements systems is a plus.
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Microsoft Office proficiency (including Outlook; Word; Excel and PowerPoint)
Great attitude and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment.
