    Koniag Data Solutions, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company , is seeking a Graphical User Interface Designer with a Public Trust clearance to support KDS and our government customer. This is a hybrid role, primarily remote but may require an occasional visit to the client site in Washington, DC.

    Koniag Data Solutions, LLC, a Koniag Government Services Company, is seeking a Graphical User Interface Designer to support a public health agency client Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). This individual will be energetic and committed to operational excellence. This person will have experience in supporting federal programs with a varied background and be able to support large and small teams in reaching client goals.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Strong conceptualization and visual communication abilities

    • Exceptional design skills, production value and attention to detail

    • Ability to create wireframes as well as visual design comps.

    • Preferred knowledge of JavaScript and related libraries, responsive design, web standards, and backward browser compatibility

    • Strong working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and associated design tools

    • Experience with user interface design patterns and standard UCD methodologies.

    • Understanding of common software development and agile development practices

    • Education and experience: Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work experience

    Basic Qualifications:

    • 5 or more years of experience with Agile methodology

    • Experience with the ServiceNow platform and systems integration is preferred.

    • Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.

    Education /Experience:

    • Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work experience

    Professional Skills:

    • Must have excellent written and oral communications skills.

    • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed team environment, with a client-centric culture, and an environment of high performers.

    • Must be able to multi-task and shift priorities as needed.

    • Must be able to work effectively with numerous stakeholder types and bring a group to consensus.

    Working Environment & Conditions

    This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

    This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.

    The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
