  • Minimum qualifications:

    • 10 years of experience in advertising and copywriting, whether in-house or at agencies.

    • 5 years of management experience, including developing career paths, and delivering constructive criticism in a live format.

    • Portfolio that showcases your writing style with an emphasis for web/digital, packaging, social, video, and beyond.

    Preferred qualifications:

    • Experience staying calm under pressure, creating an inclusive environment, leading with empathy, and making things fun while getting the work done.

    • Understanding of branding, with the ability to quickly adapt your writing style to the Fitbit brand.

    • Ability to work on projects at any point in the process, take them to completion, and elevate them along the way.

    • Exceptional attention to detail, grammar, and copy construction.

    As Group Copy Lead for Fitbit, you'll work closely with creative leadership, designers, project managers and cross-functional team members to concept and execute engaging, original creative work. Every day is different, but your role will include managing a team, overseeing messaging across all projects, and driving consistency for voice and tone across all Fitbit marketing channels and international regions.

    Fitbit's diverse line of innovative products of smartwatches, trackers and smart scale help people lead healthier, more active lives by empowering them with data, inspiration and guidance to reach their health and fitness goals.     • Uphold Fitbit's voice, tone and style, ensuring copy feels on-brand, clear, and compelling across web, email, packaging, social, video and more.

    • Act as a player-coach, to do the work yourself, while also giving thoughtful feedback that inspires incredible work from teams and agencies.

    • Use dynamic presentation skills to sell creative to a diverse group of stakeholders with different perspectives and needs.

    • Use initiative and flexibility to problem solve and prioritize quickly, identifying a clear path forward on projects with ambiguity, complexity and limited direction.

    • Build relationships with cross-functional partners across the company.
