  • Schmidt's is looking for a motivated and experienced Lead Graphic Designer to join our in-house Marketing team. Our team is small but exciting. Thoughtfulness, honesty, flexibility, persistence, and excellent communication skills are qualities that matter most. The qualified candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing design solutions to meet the growing demands of the business. Your portfolio demonstrates your ability to move between designing for print and digital. You possess outstanding typography and layout skills with a keen eye for detail, and passion for process.


    Lead and develop all packaging and branding elements including labels, boxes, logo lockups, icons and collateral.

    • Oversee Design Visual Merchandising displays that promote and educate brand .

    • Design event and tradeshow materials.

    • Oversees and develops production schedule with team.

    Desired Skills:

    • Layout and design graphics for print collateral.

    • Unique ability to translate brand requirements into thoughtful designs that push the brand forward.

    • Takes direction and input from key stakeholders to create design solutions that meet and exceed brand design standards.

    • Proven ability to work effectively and efficiently.

    • Flexible and quick to respond to changes in business priorities.

    • Proactive and solutions oriented with a positive attitude to challenges.

    Education / Experience:

    Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent.

    • Strong attention to detail.

    • At least 4+ years as a graphic designer with an emphasis on designing for CPG.

    • In-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.

    • Strong working knowledge of web graphic creation and production techniques.

    • Strong experience/knowledge of typography, page layout techniques and information design are essential
