About this role:

Wells Fargo is searching for a talented Lead Marketing Consultant to develop and deliver customer-facing messaging and marketing materials for the Merchant Services organization. This individual contributor role reports to the Merchant Services Product Communications leader and works closely with the Growth Marketing and Product Management organizations. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in developing and continually refining positioning and messaging in the financial services and/or payments industry (preferably B2B) .

In this role, you will:

• Develop and deliver effective positioning and messaging at the Merchant Services line-of-business level and product/feature-specific levels

• Lead the end-to-end process for creating compelling customer-facing product marketing materials, from authoring content to deploying into production

Required Qualifications, US:

• 5+ years of Marketing, Digital Marketing, Digital Platforms (i.e. Mobile or Social Media) experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience in crafting, delivering, and continually refining product positioning and messaging in alignment with customer value propositions

• Expertise in creating customer-facing marketing materials

• Outstanding written communication skills

• Incredible attention to detail

• Comfort and adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic, matrixed environment

• Ability to conduct competitive analyses and manage research initiatives when required

• Ability to lead initiatives from concept development through implementation, including hands-on management to deliver under deadlines

• Facility in building productive business relationships and influencing peers, partners, and senior leaders

• Experience and/or interest in working in Kanban teams

• Experience in the payments industry and in marketing to business segments

Job Expectations:

• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Preference is for the role to be located in the posted locations, though consideration may be given to candidates in other Wells Fargo hub locations. The role is a hybrid office/remote role, with the ability to work up to two days per week remotely.
