    As the Lead Product Visual Designer, you will spearhead the development and implementation of the visual design strategy for the UKG Ready product suite. Working in close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including branding, product management, engineering, user experience, and user research, your role will be pivotal in crafting visually captivating and consumer-grade experiences.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead the end-to-end visual design process, from concept development to final implementation, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and design standards.

    • Develop and maintain a cohesive visual design language and evolve our design language system (DLS).

    • Collaborate in the product triad (Product, UX and engineering) to understand user needs and translate them into visually engaging design solutions.

    • Create high-fidelity mockups to communicate design concepts and gather feedback from peers and stakeholders.

    • Create impactful vision and pitch decks to help inform product investments and generate excitement for upcoming offerings.

    • Create graphic design collaterals for effective communication of insights and to support events.

    • Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning.

    • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in visual design and user interface design.

    • Navigate cross-functionally across the organization to form partnerships beyond Ready team in areas like branding, marketing, and sales.

    • Develop lean design practices and processes to maintain quality and efficiency of the design practice.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Basic Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Visual Communication, Media Arts, or a related field.

    • 8 years or more of proven experience as a visual designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your product and systems visual design expertise and creative problem-solving skills.

    • Expertise in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma (including prototyping), Sketch, or similar.

    • Advanced skills in using PowerPoint.

    • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices. UX and Interaction design experience is a plus.

    • The ability to work onsite 3 days per week in our Lowell office.

    Preferred Traits/Experience

    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.

    • Demonstrated collaboration experience with product UX designers.
