    Job Duties:

    Primary Purpose:

    Marketing Communication Specialist's responsibilities include creating original content through researching and interpreting marketing materials based on beverage trends and packaging industry-related topics. Marketing team member will drive results by creating and distributing marketing content to promote the can as the most sustainable package type.

    Our ideal candidate has a dual-minded approach: You are highly creative and an excellent writer, but can also be process-driven, think scale, and rely on data to make decisions. We are looking for a team member who has a passion for all things beverage, a knack for identifying trends and experience in social media and/or content development.

    Essential Functions:

    • Position the can as the most sustainable beverage package with customers through unique, targeted content development

    • Accountable for all content marketing initiatives to drive traffic, engagement, and leads that deliver sales and improve customer retention.

    • Research and interpret industry-related topics for use in marketing materials including but not limited to: newsletters, website, blogs, social channel content, whitepapers, marketing collateral, ebooks, infographics, templates, guides.

    • Segment lists based on behaviors like past email engagement and website interactions (content downloads, site page visits, etc.).

    • Maintain relationship with corporate and global sustainability team to maintain consistent statistics and messaging

    • Build initial foundation of content, then create 1-2 resources per month to drive leads, subscribers, awareness, and/or other important metrics.

    • Institute and manage ongoing email campaigns including template designs, calls-to-action, and content. Optimize campaigns by reviewing, revising, and improving campaigns

    • Manage content calendar for outbound customer communications across all channels.

    • Leverage data to analyze performance and inform content roadmaps that align with prospect and industry trends

    • Grow subscriber base by providing regular, helpful content that is aligned with reader needs and interests while continuously measuring and optimizing communications.

    • Collaborate with designers, product marketers, sales professionals, and external influencers and industry experts to produce relevant content that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and our audience.

    • Development of editorial governance so content is consistent with brand voice, style and tone.

    • Build and maintain content repository.

    Requirements:

    • 3-4 year minimum experience in communication, content creation role, or similar experience

    • Past experience building audiences either online or offline (portfolio of examples required)

    • Exemplary writing and editing skills in English

    • Proficient in SEO, basic design programs

    • Strong skills in data analysis and research

    • Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it

    • Must understand the basic best practices of the main social media channels, which content and approaches work on each and why

    • BS in Marketing, English, Journalism or other relevant field
