  • Description Key Focus Areas And Responsibilities: Communications Implementation: Hands-on involvement in content compilation and creation. Manage internal communication channels, ensuring optimal reach and relevance of messages regarding plant and corporate achievements. Develop, implement, and manage an annual communications editorial plan for each plant, including community relations and local change management communications. Increase proactive communication activities, emphasizing frequency, quality, and content stickiness. Deliver strategic internal communications to connect employees with business strategies, resources, tools, policies, and procedures. Social Media and Online Presence: Implement effective use of online and social media channels to support core Operations/Plant communication objectives. Serve as a liaison with the North America Communications Director to identify social media opportunities and support plant goals. Act as the plant content leader for the development and posting of content on various social media channels. Event Support: Collaborate with the Corporate Communications Director to support the successful management of key plant meetings and special events. Ensure smooth coordination of events such as sales meetings, general manager meetings, customer site visits, and facility openings. Communications Monitoring and Reporting: Maintain project-tracking data and reporting systems, ensuring accuracy and currency. Implement KPI reporting to measure the effectiveness of communication programs. Communications Infrastructure Management: Measure and track the effectiveness of marketing communication programs. Work as a liaison with the North America Communications Director to identify coaching opportunities for plant leadership involved in employee presentations or media interactions. Coordinate, manage, and audit the quality and effectiveness of a plant-wide communications program regarding feedback related to plant/company goals and objectives. Support communications, education, and training efforts of functional groups within the plant associated with the Operations Transformation effort. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related field. Proven experience in communications, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Strong hands-on content creation and editing skills. Proficiency in managing internal communication channels and social media platforms. Excellent organizational and project management skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with plant leadership and corporate communications teams. Strong analytical skills for monitoring and reporting on communication effectiveness. You will be responsible for creating and implementing an editorial calendar, ensuring that all positive aspects of the business are effectively communicated and that key events are marketed to the target audience. This position requires a native English speaker with strong proficiency in Spanish and the ability to read and write in French. Responsibilities: Editorial Calendar Management: Develop and execute an editorial calendar tailored to manufacturing clients. Coordinate and post content on the corporate Facebook page. Maintain a consistent brand tone and messaging across all communications. Event Support: Collaborate with internal teams to support onsite events. Market events effectively to boost attendance and engagement. Bilingual Communication: Serve as a Spanish-speaking liaison for communication needs. Ability to read and write in French is a plus. Strategic Thinking: Work closely with the marketing director to develop and implement strategic communication plans. Act as a strategic thinker in aligning communications with business objectives. Travel and Onsite Responsibilities: Some travel to and from manufacturing facilities may be required. Support events onsite as needed. Language Skills: Native English speaker with proficiency in Spanish. Ability to read and write in French is desirable. Technical Skills: Proficient in using Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign. Willingness to learn and apply skills in video editing, podcast creation, and social media management. Requirements: Minimum of 6 years of experience, with a focus on internal communications and manufacturing. Ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and copywriting abilities. Experience with brand reinforcement through verbal communication. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, with a focus on InDesign. Training or experience in video editing, podcast creation, and social media management is advantageous. Passport required for potential travel. Work Arrangement: Hybrid setup, working 3 days in the office. Standard working hours: 8 am - 5 pm. Contract Details: Duration: 4 months (potentially contract to full-time). Start Date: ASAP, within the next two to three weeks.
