    Marketing & Communications Coordinator

    POWER Engineers, Inc. is currently seeking a Marketing & Communications Coordinator to work in our Boise, Idaho office.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Associate editor of POWER Surges Magazine

    • Manage day-to-day production of six editions per year

    • Conduct editorial meetings

    • Align with corporate sponsor and publications editor on story list based on corporate initiatives and current topics

    • Support volunteer writing team of division representatives in help completing stories and first line of editorial support

    • Track deadlines and supports team in meeting those deadlines

    • Proof and work with writers on editing all stories

    • Content support and writer for magazine

    • Coordinate electronic versions, server folder organization and magazine archive

    • Assist with CEO Report interviews

    • Work closely with the Corporate Publications Editor to keep magazine current and relevant to our geographically diverse team

    • Work closely with Creative Director on magazine layout

    • Work closely with our corporate PR Coordinator on pitch forms and story suggestions

    • Work with Ops GSA on distribution

    • Corporate coordinator for POWER Portal - our intranet tool

    • Coordinate day-to-day activities and corporate content development

    • Promote and increase use of tool as a central hub for our internal communications needs that is the daily internal face of POWER for our culture and brand

    • Assist POWER teams in creating communication efficiencies and maximize information sharing

    • Create and manage an editorial calendar for the Portal home page

    • Coordinate and support intranet governance

    • Train Portal users: Site admin, forum use, Content managers, etc.

    • Manage portal based on data driven decisions with tool analytics

    • Assist PR Coordinator in the execution of POWER Foundation messaging

    • Work closely with the Creative Director on user experience and design

    • Partner with MarCom Project Coordinator and IT on tech support

    • Work closely with the Corporate Publications Editor to ensure message and tone is current and aligned with corporate initiatives

    • Assist with copywriting, content development and possible ghost writing for articles and other opportunities

    • Assist with presentations and companywide internal communications as needed

    • Other duties as assigned

    Required Education/Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications or related field

    • Five (5) + years of related experience

    • Is highly self-motivated, well-organized, and a multi-tasker with a respect for strict deadlines

    • Team-oriented with leadership skills and a bit social

    • Goes with the flow, changes direction on a dime and smiles at the absurd
