The incumbent is responsible for the marketing communication activities and initiatives including website, literature, samples, sales support materials, public relations, newsletters, lead management and advertising.
This role is also responsible for managing social media and supporting e-commerce initiatives. The incumbent will assist in the development of marketing plans, advertisement development, planning, budgeting and implementation, as well as new product development, public relations, development of sales tools and literature.
Gather and provide sales support material including samples, tech sheets, presentations and customer requests.
Work with Product Managers to build marketing communication strategies for their new product launches.
Build effective public relation campaigns through the building of relationships with media, targeted press releases and the pitching of story concepts.
Manage social media accounts, working with the Digital Marketing Leader on our social media strategy
Support e-commerce initiatives, working closely with the Digital Marketing Leader to implement best practices, analyze data and make recommendations on new channel initiatives.
A Bachelorâ€™s degree in Marketing, Communications or Business and 3-5 years of experience in brand or product marketing and communications/e-commerce is required. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook) is required.
The incumbent must possess strong organizational skills, as well as be thorough, detail-oriented and be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. The incumbent must be a talented all around communicator via phone, e-mail and in person and must have strong presentation skills. The position works with a wide range of people representing many different internal and external functions. The ability to communicate verbally and in writing, convey leadership, solve multifaceted problems, and operate with consistency is required.
