    WSP is currently initiating a search for a Marketing Coordinator II for our Indianapolis, Indiana or Kansas City, Missouri office, though we're open to any Central Region locations with a WSP office.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • With the assistance and supervision of the marketing manager, coordinates the development of proposal documents that are responsive to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) that solicit professional services from the architecture and engineering consultant industry; the right candidate should be able to work with limited oversight, coordinating and executing all required elements of a proposal, as well as taking direction for incorporating the sales case in partnership with senior marketing and technical staff.

    • Prior to the release of the RFP, works with a marketing manager, pursuit manager, local management, and/or technical staff to research the project context, track action items, and document the activities related to the proposal and implement the "win" strategy developed by the marketing team.

    • Upon receipt of the RFP, responsible for developing the proposal outline or compliance matrix and setting proposal production schedules; communicating internal and external requirements with the pursuit team; coordinating graphics with graphic design staff; confirming requirements are satisfied and at the end of the day, ensuring a complete compliant document is created that communicates the win strategy.

    • Daily responsibilities include attending area marketing meetings, maintaining the opportunity database and reports, creating and updating resumes and project descriptions, maintaining prequalification submittals for key clients, and other duties as assigned.

    • The right candidate will be energetic, enthusiastic about the sales process, willing to learn and try new things, and must be able to work well under deadline pressure.

    Job Requirements

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Minimum of three years' experience in professional services proposal coordination, document editing and proofing, and computer usage

    • Writing experience

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word

    • Good communication, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a team

    • Bachelor's Degree

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Familiarity with Adobe InDesign, PowerPoint and Excel desired
