The Marketing Manager at Grand Hyatt Deer Valley plays a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the hotel's image and market position. This position requires a dynamic individual with strong leadership skills, creativity, and a passion for delivering results. Media relations, solid writing and editing skills, as well as organizational skills are of the utmost importance. This position reports directly to the Director of Sales and Marketing.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing, communications, and public relations strategy to elevate the hotel's image and presence in the marketplace.

    • Cultivate strong relationships with community organizations and relevant stakeholders.

    • Lead the sales team in navigating challenges throughout the booking cycle, developing strategic plans to address issues and maximize opportunities.

    • Oversee all marketing and public relations activities, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and brand standards.

    • Define and articulate the hotel's desired image and position, ensuring consistent communication internally and externally.

    • Manage the editorial direction, design, and distribution of all hotel publications.

    • Coordinate media relations and act as the hotel's representative with the media.

    • Ensure compliance with corporate branding strategies across all marketing materials and channels.

    • Develop and implement an annual marketing plan, in alignment with budgetary guidelines.

    • Drive top-line revenue through effective marketing initiatives and lead generation activities.

    • Conduct on-site marketing presentations to prospective clients and participate in revenue management strategies.

    • Maintain awareness of market trends and competitor activities, adapting marketing strategies as necessary.

    • Collaborate with the corporate office and other stakeholders to maintain effective communication and alignment.

    Qualifications:

    • Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

    • Proven track record of success in marketing and public relations roles.

    • Results-oriented mindset, with high energy and focus.

    • Strong service orientation and professional presentation skills.

    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

    • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Hospitality or Business.
