Under guidance, supports the development and implementation of a marketing strategy for the Department of Psychiatry. Helps promote the Psychiatry department's reputation as an elite academic center for psychiatric research, training, and clinical care.
Launches and grows social media accounts for department. Generates and composes content, tracks trends, and manages reporting metrics. Collaborates with faculty and administrative staff to understand and help advance communications needs via social media.
Ensures effectiveness of social media and encourages adoption of consistent and relevant social media techniques and institutional policies.
Updates website content and works with faculty to update web profiles.
Develops department marketing materials for recruitment of residents and faculty, including brochures, newsletters, flyers, etc.
Organizes and manages photo and video shoots.
Liaises with central administration to ensure accurate use of institutional brand identities.
Bachelor's degree preferred
Approximately 3 years of experience in an academic, healthcare or non-profit marketing environment
