    Purpose

    Provides support in the execution of the company's sales and marketing initiatives.

    Key Responsibilities

    Leadership and Direction

    • Receive general instruction on key objectives for execution. Receive direction as needed, and especially complex assignments, modified techniques, and new approaches on assignments with conflicting criteria. Work is completed using advanced techniques and principles and is reviewed by more senior staff to ensure application of sound professional judgement. May review work produced by junior staff for quality assurance.

    At the Operational and Company Level

    • Work collaboratively with cross functional groups to produce sales and marketing collateral to support business initiatives. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of key organizational project initiatives and industry competitors.

    Do the Work

    • Preparation of proposals in response to RFP requests, qualifications and teaming opportunity materials for both public works and private development projects managing the process from content generation through to debriefing.

    • Assist business development/project teams with prequalification and lead tracking efforts.

    • Prepare presentations and assist with interview preparation.

    • Produce marketing and communications collateral including brochures, project profiles, team resumes, etc.

    • Create visually appealing graphics in support of proposal preparation and corporate initiatives, as needed.

    • Maintain efficient marketing processes, record keeping systems and historical information.

    • Assist in coordination of team member and project photography.

    • Assist in the maintenance of company website (uploading new projects, blogs, etc.), as needed.

    • May assist in coordinating and potentially participating in industry, tradeshow and recruiting events.

    • Assist with social media efforts, as needed.

    • Complete day-to-day marketing tasks, projects, and activities, as requested.

    Education, Work Experience, Licensure/Certifications, and Technical Requirements

    • Associates' degree in marketing, communications, or related field required. Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field preferred. Commensurate years of work experience also considered.

    • Three or more (3+) years of relevant professional services marketing communications experience required (preferably in Architectural/Engineering/Construction (AEC) industry).

    • Experience in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

    • Excellent writing and editing skills are essential and professional poise/confidence to interface with media, as necessary.

    • Strong graphic design and layout capabilities.

    Physical Demands and Working Environment

    • Eligible for remote work arrangements.

    • Primarily indoor professional office environment which may include bright/dim light, noise, fumes, odors, and traffic.

    • Mobility around an office environment.

    • Frequent and prolonged use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
