As a Marketing Specialist Senior within PNC's Retail Marketing organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA.
You will be part of a dynamic team which develops and implements marketing programs to support PNC Investment's aggressive customer acquisition and relationship building goals in the online channels. This role focuses on developing relevant content for ~~~ and various social media channels while partnering with other PNC Investments (PNCI) marketing professionals to deliver an integrated marketing approach to help achieve the overall business objectives.
This Marketing Specialist Senior will be responsible for
? Collaborating across functions to deliver an effective content marketing strategy and editorial plan that supports PNCI's key business objectives and our integrated Investments & Retirement Marketing campaigns.
? Writes, edits and executes compelling content for the web and digital consumption. This person will be responsible for producing content in a variety of formats (i.e., articles, infographics, videos, podcasts, and more).
? Monitors, maintains and refines our Investments & Retirement presence within the shopping and buying experience on ~~~
? Develops and executes social media creative for PNCI approved social platforms, including LinkedIn and Pinterest, with the goal of driving site traffic to ~~~.
? Tracks, analyzes and synthesizes web and content analytics to help improve our overall effectiveness and inform our go-forward strategy.
? Monitors the competitive landscape with an eye for industry best practices and innovative strategies.
The ability to build partnerships is critical as this person will work regularly with our digital media, marketing centers of excellence, social media, agency and legal and compliance partners to build and execute portions of our multi-channel marketing strategy.
We are looking for a self-starter who is very detail oriented and shows initiative. The candidate should have strong project management skills, a knowledge and understanding of web and digital media, and use and be familiar with various social media channels. Strong writing, editing and content marketing skills are needed as well as a willingness to learn about the investments business.
Independently supervises, manages and assists in the development of aspects of marketing program execution.
Leverages a strong comprehension of Marketing strategies in order to positively inform execution of programs/projects.
Develops and executes more complex Marketing programs/ projects, strategies and activities that may include advertising, sales content and internal communications. Proactively collects and synthesizes data. Assembles trends. Helps identify strategic and tactical implications.
Acts as a liaison to agencies, third parties or internal business partners to coordinate development and execute on their behalf.
Oversees activities including coordination with legal, compliance, invoicing, budget management and process workflows.

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 2+ years of relevant professional experience. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
