Required Skills:

Motion Designer - WhatsApp Responsibilities:

1. Take broad, conceptual ideas and turn them into solid and comprehensive solutions in motion.

2. Drive the application and development of WhatsApp's brand system through motion design, animation and prototyping.

3. Collaborate daily with peers in every discipline, including engineering, content, research, marketing and data science, to take products from conception to launch.

4. Willingness to represent work to a broader product team and other leaders, clearly and succinctly articulating the goals and concepts.

5. Give and solicit feedback from designers and a broader product team in order to continually improve for quality

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

1. 5+ years of experience building and shipping multiple features that are broad/ambiguous in scope and encompass an end-to-end experience across a variety of platforms.

2. 5+ years of motion design experience with knowledge to define how an experience should behave based on understanding people's needs, plus consideration of how this product will scale. Use appropriate prototyping tools to demonstrate how a particular flow or interaction will work.

3. 5+ years of visual design experience with proficiency in typography, desktop/mobile UI, color, layout, iconography and aesthetic sense and how these elements impact product function.

4. A portfolio that demonstrates product, branding, communication design experience.

5. Knowledge of iOS, Android and WWW design.

Public Compensation:

$121,000/year to $173,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
