    Essential Functions

    • Co-host daily lifestyle program, New York Live, including live interviews, daily chat topics and pre-recorded segments.

    • Generate story ideas, research and set up the content and interviews, work with a content producer, write and voice the story, and present the story live as scheduled on a designated broadcast.

    • Perform on-air responsibilities for designated lifestyle program.

    • Work with show producers, managers and photographers on program packages

    • Contribute story ideas for chat topics and lead stories for daily lifestyle programs. Shoot in the field segments to air for daily broadcast.

    • Present and participate in sponsored content for the daily show.

    • Research and write scripts for show content.

    • Communicate with producers and managers regarding in-show interviews, field stories and daily chat topics.

    • Build relationships with the community and community leaders for the purpose of developing connections for story leads. Develop and cultivate contacts within the community for lifestyle stories.

    • Participate in station-sponsored events and all assigned special promotions projects.

    Basic Qualifications

    • Demonstrated live television reporting experience in a large market.

    • Previous hosting experience in a major market.

    • Proven track record of strong live reporting skills and strong story telling.

    • Understanding and proven participation in Social Media (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.)

    • Must be a team player and work effectively in a fast-paced environment

    Eligibility Requirements

    • Interested candidate must submit a resume/CV through ~~~ to be considered

    • Ability to work long hours, a variety of shifts (including weekends) and to return to work in emergencies depending upon news coverage, when necessary

    • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation and drug test

    • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States

    • Must be 18 years or older

    *This position is an AFTRA Represented job. Successful candidate will be required to join the AFTRA Union upon employment if not already a member.

    Additional Requirements:

    • Must submit an attestation disclosing your COVID-19 vaccination status and, if partially or fully vaccinated, submitting your vaccination record no later than 7 days following commencement of employment.

    • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at the commencement of employment or adhere to enhanced protocols in select work settings or where jurisdictionally mandated.

    • Must be willing to adhere to all Company COVID-19 workplace safety policies and protocols.

    Desired Characteristics:

    • Experience in lifestyle content and story telling

    • Excellent writing and speaking skills

    • Able to ad-lib effortlessly in various types of situations, particularly live programming

    • Bilingual ability in Spanish, a plus.

    • Able to handle working under the pressure of intense deadlines

    • Possess the ability to work effectively with others in a team environment

    • Demonstrated experience generating and producing lifestyle stories

    • Prior experience delivering taped and live reports

    • Can act decisively under stress and tight deadlines

    • Prior experience reporting in a top 50 market
