    Job Summary:

    Job Responsibilities

    • Assist the Marketing and Communications Director in fulfilling the strategic marketing and communications priorities of the CCTSI.

    • Under the direction of the Director, coordinate the social media management for the CCTSI, including tracking metrics and audience engagement.

    • Apply graphic design expertise to the production of CCTSI collateral materials, PowerPoint presentations, website and social media graphics, magazines, newsletters, infographics, and more.

    • Support the Director of Marketing and Communications in planning and execution of annual academic conference, annual external advisory committee meeting, and staff events.

    • Provide support to the Marketing Communications department with a variety of copywriting, including for CCTSI annual reports, website content, emails, Found in Translation newsletter, monthly training and events newsletter, CCTSI staff newsletter, promotional flyers and more.

    • Edit and proofread newsletters, collateral materials and more.

    • Design emails to market CCTSI programs.

    • Provide support for Salesforce/Marketing Cloud email marketing.

    • Use Google Analytics and Lookr Studio to analyze marketing efforts.

    • Provide support in updating website content and basic web design tasks.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Communication (Entry Level) Professional:

    • Bachelor's degree in Communications or English or closely related field

    • Strong problem-solving skills

    Communication (Intermediate) Professional

    • Bachelor's degree in Communications or English or closely related field

    • One (1) years of marketing and communications or related experience

    Preferred Qualifications

    Communication (Entry Level) Professional:

    • Bachelor's degree in Communications or English or closely related field

    • One (1) year of marketing and communications related experience

    • Experience launching, managing, tracking and evaluating social media

    • Experience using graphic design software such as CANVA and/or Adobe suite of products to create online graphics as well as graphic design products for print

    • Creating email campaigns to promote programs

    • Proven ability to coordinate multiple assignments simultaneously

    • Experience using Google Analytics/Lookr Studio to measure marketing efforts

    Communication (Intermediate) Professional:

    • Bachelor's degree in Communications or English or closely related field

    • At least two year's experience in marketing and communications.

    • At least two years experience:

    • Taking complex written content on a variety of scientific topics and translating it for a lay audience in news articles, print collateral material and social media posts

    • Working in a professional marketing communications department in an academic institution

    • Navigating the complexities of a university environment

    • Sharing and amplifying social media content Must have experience in social media management and with social media scheduling tools

    • Must have:

    • excellent written and communication skills.

    • proven track record of attention to detail in all aspects of work especially in proofreading.

    • Proven track record in understanding and synthesizing complex material

    The starting salary range () for this position has been established as Entry Professional: $46,116 - $58,660 Intermediate Professional: $50,185 - $63,835 The above salary range () represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
