    Primary Function

    This is a unique opportunity to be part of the creative video development and production process with an internal video and broadcast team based in midtown Manhattan.

    The Producer position is a key role in executing high-level, professional, live and taped productions. The ideal candidate has professional production experience, preferably in news and/or non-fiction, works well in a team environment, is organized, pays close attention to details, and has excellent communication skills.

    This individual will work directly on all facets of production, including but not limited to: scheduling, shooting, editing, and content distribution.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Oversee all phases of designated projects including pre-production, production, post-production and final delivery.

    • Work with the team on larger projects in asset capture, research, and music selection as requested.

    • Coordinate and oversee on-location and studio shoots when necessary. Manage catering.

    • Interface with other producers and high-level, C-Suite talent;

    • Provide support and work closely with department personnel in all aspects of logistical, operational and production coordination. Delegate appropriately when needed.

    • Interface with Executives, Assistants, and other staff to schedule and coordinate productions and events.

    • Maintain project tracking database and project sheets. Delegate when appropriate.

    • Other duties as assigned.

    Skills & Qualifications

    • Excellent communication skills- in-person, over the phone, etc.

    • Must be comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

    • A strong understanding of the Adobe suite, Brightcove, and SharePoint is a plus

    • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to field various requests on any given day

    • The ability to take direction and guidance well while working collaboratively with other members of the production team

    • A strong grasp of technical production skills, including shooting, video editing, and graphics creation and operation

    • A willingness to learn and improve with each new project

    • Comfortable working on the front lines with the company's top executives - a client-facing demeanor and understanding of a corporate environment is imperative

    • A self-starter with a positive attitude who brings ideas to the table

    Education & Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Video/Film Production, Communications, or related field is preferred.

    • 5+ years experience as a producer in the corporate, non-fiction, or television production industry

    • Understanding of news production workflows and best practices is preferred

    • A strong background/education in the production process
