At Palo Alto Networks® everything starts and ends with our mission:
Being the cybersecurity partner of choice, protecting our digital way of life.
We have the vision of a world where each day is safer and more secure than the one before. These aren't easy goals to accomplish - but we're not here for easy. We're here for better. We are a company built on the foundation of challenging and disrupting the way things are done, and we're looking for innovators who are as committed to shaping the future of cybersecurity as we are.
As the lead designer for the consumer mobile app, you will be responsible for designing the way in which our customers experience our brand everyday. Digital security can be intimidating and hard to understand for most folks. You will help change that, giving them the tools they need to feel secure, informed and empowered. You'll be involved in every step of the product development process, from understanding user needs and motivations, to brainstorming the next product opportunity, to getting pixels perfect leading up to launch. As a T-shaped designer, you are an expert in at least one area of design, but can handle a breadth of tasks, from experience design, to interaction design, to visual design, to motion graphics. You've built a complete toolkit, and you're ready to step into the spotlight and take the lead.

The consumer products team is a startup inside of Palo Alto Networks, and we're building our first product. We've attracted top-shelf talent from Google, Essential and IDEO with experience shipping world-class consumer products and services. You'll be one of the first internal design hires, so you'll have the opportunity to wear many hats, explore new skills, build culture and practice and have a front seat to our formative product decisions. You will work side-by-side with UX & industrial designers, UX researchers, the product management team and app developers.
We're trailblazers that dream big, take risks, and challenge the status quo of cybersecurity. We can't accomplish our mission without diverse teams innovating, together.
